Hyderabad: As many as 91 intermediate second year students were booked for malpractice during the conduct of Mathematics-IIA, Botany, Civics and Psychology - II by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education across Telangana State on Wednesday.
Of 91 cases of malpractice, Yadadri district is on top with 29 cases, followed by Nalgonda-18, Vikarabad-11, Medak-7, Jangaon-6, Jayashankar Bhupalpally-5, Mahabubnagar-4, Nizamabad-3, Jagtial-3, Rangareddy-3, Bhadradri Kothagudem-1 and Hyderabad-1.
Of 442,732 registered candidates, as many as 423,776 were present while 18,956 or 4.28% abstained.
Observers were sent from Board to Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Yadadri, Nalgonda and Medak districts.
