Rama Rasam, a special delicacy, offered to Lord Rama during Pujas on Rama Navami is a great summer cooler. It is an easy dish you can cook at home.
- Pepper jaggery water (Rama rasam)

- 5-6 tbsp grated jaggery
- 5 glasses water
- 2-3 crushed cardamom
- 4-5 coarsely crushed peppercorns
- A pinch dry ginger powder
In a vessel, add the Jaggery with water and stir well until Jaggery dissolves.
Filter the Jaggery water so that it will help you to remove waste particles which might come in the Jaggery. Now add ginger powder, cardamom and pepper, mix well. Refregerate it and Serve chilled.
