Marks & Spencer (M&S), a British retailer, is growing its presence in south India with the official opening of its new flagship store at Jubilee Hills on Thursday.

The retailer announced that it would open two new stores in the city by December. With the opening of three stores within the same financial year, the city would become one of the top priority markets in India.

The new flagship store offers customers an international shopping experience, showcasing M&S’s stylish autumn collections across menswear, womenswear, lingerie and beauty. The store would also offer merchandise from easy to iron trousers, cotton shirts to everyday suits and jackets for men. In womenswear, fashion pieces including the bohemian indigo floral kimono top, flippy skirts and wardrobe staples like the black collection lace yoke velour skater dress will be available at the store. The store also showcases products for skincare, fragrance, bath and body product ranges Venu Nair, managing director of Marks & Spencer Reliance India, said, “Growing our presence across south India is an important part of our ongoing strategy to build a leadership position in India. Hyderabad is an exciting city for Marks & Spencer and we’re delighted to be extending our reach across the city with our new flagship store at Jubilee Hills adding two more stores.”
