Actress Isha Chawla inaugurated Gandham Silks showroom in PVP Line on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, showroom owners G Satyanarayana and Karthik Sai, who have been running a textile showroom in Vastralatha for the past 29 years, said that they set up the new outlet to cater to the needs of Vijayawada’s elite.

B Venkata Narasimha Rao, general secretary, Andhra Pradesh Textile Federation, inaugurated the cash counter. The first floor of the showroom was inaugurated by Krishnaveni Cloth Market secretary V Prasad. The new showroom has a wide range of expensive fabrics, including designer sarees, ghagras, salwars and western wear.
