Yes, I’m wearing mom’s jeans!

Thinking about it, it kind of is ironic that what was once a normcore (a portmanteau of the words “normal,” and hardcore;” unisex pieces of clothing that were worn in a way to avoid standing out through clothing) staple in a woman’s closet is now mainstream…and does exactly the opposite of “normcore;” stands out in a crowd. Not convinced yet? Check out some of my fav “mom jean,” looks…and get inspired.

For the mornings you don’t want to make too much of an effort on, throw on a cardigan over a button down, throw on some booties and pull your hair into a top knot… On casual Fridays..(PS- thank god for them!) Add on a silk blouse and pumps and you’re formal enough for work! (and cas enough to jump into a bar soon after) For the days you really want to dress your jeans up! (a TON of accessories can dress up almost any outfit!) On date night, when you want to add a sexy touch to your basic jeans (although, let’s be honest.

This outfit would be oh – so – perfect for a night on town with the gals. A first date? Not so much)...and finally for the “flats gal,” running around the town. Sure you’ve been inspired. I sure was….here’s my rendition. A super easy look that I was tots comfy in that wore out, a couple days back. I know for a fact that I’m gonna wear these jeans to death… Oohh, maybe I should try wearing something Indian on them.
