Mumbai: 2017 has already begun, but the celebrations are still on at ORRA! Having recently bagged the award for the Accessory Jewellery of the year at JJS-IJ Jewellers’ Choice Design Awards 2016, the brand has begun the year on a positive note! A conglomeration of young & creative jewelry designers, this edition saw 115 spectacular designs nominated in 22 categories.

Known for its captivating designs, ORRA enthralled the jury members in the Accessory Jewellery Design category with ornaments conceptualized on ‘Saptapadi’, the seven solemn promises of a marriage. Designed with seven flowers in 18kt gold each, this hair ornament is encrusted with diamonds and rubies. Each flower has been intricately signed off with the different promises fine filigree work that one would take around the sacred fire of holy matrimony.

Commenting on the win, Mr. Vijay Jain (CEO and Director – ORRA) shares, “We are truly excited for this win that allows us to bring in the New Year on a very positive note! ORRA has won awards across all the major jewellery shows this past year including the National Jewellery Awards, Retail Jeweller Awards and have also been awarded India’s Most Trusted Brand in the Diamond Jewellery category by IBC Infomedia – 2016. With this win, we continue in our belief that we are heading in the right direction with designs that appeal to the versatile consumer of today.”

Going forward ORRA looks to creating more such compelling designs that are not only a piece of art by itself, but also pieces to which consumers can ascertain their own unique experiences.
