Prof Kodandram, chairman, addressing the steering committee of TJAC here on Wednesday said that one person from each home should participate in the 'Chalo Assembly' programme on June 14 to achieve Telangana state. He said that the slogan of the progarmme is 'Pattanam Podam � Palakulanu Adugudam' (Let us go to city and ask the rulers).
He said that an application has been submitted to the police seeking permission for the programme. He said that the government and the police should give permission for the peaceful conduct of the programme. However, the programme would be organized even if the government and the police did not give permission.
He criticized the Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy for raising voice against Telangana and said that Jagga Reddy was not insisting to give jobs to the youth of Telangana in the industries like BHEL, DDF. TJAC (west) chairman Ashok Kumar, Krishna Prasad, R Satyanarayana and others were present.
