Almost all respondents are unanimous that the Congress party has put on an act to impress the voters by bringing N Chandrababu Naidu to the fore. They have agreed with caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s statement that the Congress party has leaned on Naidu because it is unable to fight the TRS on its own. They also feel that the TRS government has achieved in four and half year of its rule what the Congress could not do in 60 years of its rule

I do agree with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s statement that the Congress has brought N Chandrababu Naidu unable to fight the TRS on its own. The Congress party high command knows that they can’t win polls alone. TDP, TJS, CPI and Congress are unitedly trying to defeat TRS party in the forthcoming elections. The Congress failed to develop Telangana State during its regime. - S Narayana, private employee, Adilabad

I do agree with KCR’s statement that the Congress party has brought N Chandrababu Naidu to the fore unable to fight with TRS on its own. Actually, the Congress party does not have ability to defeat the TRS on its own. That is why it has an alliance with the TDP to fight the TRS. - N Ganesh, Kothagudem

I completely agree with Chief Minster K Chandrashekar Rao’s contention. The Congress party ruled over the State for 60 years but failed to develop Telangana. Now, they are scared of TRS which is a regional party. The TRS has won the hearts and minds of Telangana people by its commitment to develop the State and by launching welfare schemes for the downtrodden. In just four-and-a -half-year the TRS government was able to achieve what the Congress failed to do in 60 years. - Mathin, businessman, Adilabad

No, I do not agree with KCR’s statement that the Congress party has brought N Chandrababu Naidu to the fore unable to fight with TRS on its own. It is common in elections to have alliances. - R Satish, Kothagudem

Yes, I agree with KCR that the Congress has brought N Chandrababu Naidu unable to fight TRS on its own. As the Seemandhra people are more on city outskirts Assembly constituencies, Congress formed Mahakutami and brought Naidu to secure the support of Andhra people. They are also planning road shows and meetings with the TDP supremo in Greater Hyderabad Assembly constituencies to defeat TRS. M Subhash, private employee, Hyderguda

I don’t agree with KCR’s comment that the Congress has brought N Chandrababu Naidu to fight with TRS. It was TRS which created political conditions in Telangana that facilitated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to enter the political arena again in the State after cash-for-vote scam. TRS supremo miserably failed in fulfilling the promises made by him earlier. After enjoying the power for four and half years he dissolved the house without fulfilling the core three issues, such as water, funds and jobs. - M Krishna, private employee, Boduppal

It is absolutely true, and I agree with KCR’s statement that the Congress has brought N Chandrababu Naidu to the fore unable to fight with TRS on its own. At the moment, the Congress cannot go it alone and fight with the TRS party in the forthcoming elections. The reason is that Telangana people have full faith in the TRS. TRS government has launched some important schemes for the farmers and other sections of people. The schemes are unique in nature and no other State in the country launched such welfare schemes. - Somi Reddy Naresh Reddy, advocate, Karimnagar
