It is so sad that three people were killed in police firing in Arunachal Pradesh when the protesters were demanding to grant Permanent Residence Certificates to the non-Arunachal communities whose demands were not considered by the government. It was shocking to see a report that the protesters set ablaze Deputy Chief Minister's residence.

The government must ensure to protect all citizens’ lives and their properties to calm down the violence while deputing additional security forces before it is too late. Otherwise, there is no option left for the government, except to impose President rule.
