The mother of a three-year-old Indian-origin boy, whose body was recovered two days after his disappearance from Scotland's capital Edinburgh earlier this month, has appeared in court for a second time on charges of murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Mikaeel Kular went missing from his home in Edinburgh Jan 15 and his body was discovered in Fife, 30 miles from Edinburgh, two days later.
Mikaeel's mother Rosdeep, 33, was arrested and charged with murder of her son after the body was discovered.
She appeared in court Tuesday for a full committal hearing, which was also held in private, the Daily Mail reported.
Rosdeep, in her second appearance in court, again made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
New court dates are yet be fixed.
Rosdeep was charged with the crime when she made her initial appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court Jan 20, which was also held in private.
She made no plea or declaration during the first hearing before sheriff Frank Crowe and was remanded in custody.
