Melbourne Telangana Forum (MTF) Bathukamma 2015

Melbourne: Melbourne Telangana Forum ( MTF) under the Leadership of President MR Rajesh ToutiReddy , Sectary General AnilDeep Charlapally and Vice president Nandini Biskunda had celebrated their crown event of the year Bathukamma 2015. This extravaganza event was Endorsed by Telangana Samskruthika Shakha and Australian MultiCultural Community Services Inc & proudly supported by Victorian Multicultural Commission, Maribyrnong City Council and other prominent local business.
REC WEST was decorated with colourful Telangana Bathukamma theme , entrance was turned into a kakathiya kala thoranam and Walls in the hall was decorated with wall posters with the photos of dominant Temples in Telangana which has enhanced the festive atmosphere . Everyone at the event was in full traditional attire. More than 2500 people of Telugu origin had attended the celebrations. MTF has organised various cultural programs like Bathukamma dances , kollatam, bollywood dance , kids activities , Best bathukamma competition and many more ..
Chief Guests for the event are Smt. Gongidi Sunitha Mahender Reddy Garu MLA & Whip from Telangana State Government, Sri Mahender Reddy garu TRS nalgonda , Hon Marsha Rose Thomson MP , Cr Nam Quach Mayor Maribyrnong City Council , Elizabeth Drozd VMC commissioner , many other Telugu Community leaders in Melbourne. Gongidi sunitha Mahender Reddy has spoken about the traditional & Cultural aspects of the bathukamma festival and also stressed on the fact that NRI's has a vital role in shaping the Bangaru Telangana.
