Nalgonda: Several legislators cornered the ministers including the incharge minister Sunita Lakshma Reddy, Panchayat Raj Minister Kunduru Jana Reddy, Minister for Housing N Uttamkumar Reddy over the problems faced by the farmers all over the district during the district review meeting held here on Tuesday. The MLAs � Budida Bhikshamayya Goud, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, Chirumarti Lingayya, MLCs K Dilip Kumar, cherupalli Sitaramulu, Poola Ravindar, Bharati Ragya Naik and others expressed dissatisfaction over the delay in conducting district review meeting which should be conducted once in three months. They demanded that the officials and the ministers should take necessary action to conduct the meeting regularly. Panchayat Raj Minister Jana Reddy said that there were three lakh agriculture bore wells in the district unlike any other district in the State and instructed the officials to supply uninterrupted power. He also instructed them to replace the damaged transformers with new ones. The minister sanctioned Rs. One crore for each constituency in the district for solving the water problem when it was pointed out there was drinking water scarcity in all the villages in the district. Kodada MLA Chandra Rao said that there was drinking water problem in his constituency. He squatted on the floor to solve the problem. The minister concerned immediately assured that the problem would be solved in a month. Legislative council deputy chairman Neti Vidyasagar, Bhuvanagiri MP Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy and others were present in the DRC meeting.
