Nakrekal (Nalgonda): Twenty five years after marriage Anjayya and Sujata were not blessed with children. After much thought, they have decided to get a child of their relatives in adoption. But their joy was short-lived as the child was discovered with some mysterious disease.

Both the wife and husband are daily wage labourers. The husband is a weaver earning Rs. 125 per day and his wife as his assistant earns Rs. 75 per day. In spite of the poverty, they wanted to raise the child as their own.

At the age of three months, the baby boy, Sai, fell ill. They rushed him to doctors who prescribed some medicines. To augment their earnings, they started a mobile food joint preparing mirch bajjis. Still, the money is not enough. The condition of the boy deteriorated day after day.

Now he is two year old and cannot even move on his own. They look for philanthropists to help them to extend better treatment for the boy. Some of their relatives had even advised them to leave the boy in some orphanage. But their conscience did not agree to the suggestion.
