Dattatreya held in Devarakonda

Devarakonda (Nalgonda): BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya was taken into preventive custody here on Thursday when he attempted to stage rasta roko demanding arrest of the persons responsible for the attack on three BJP leaders who sustained serious injuries on Wednesday.

Earlier, Dattatreya went to the hospital to call on the injured leaders convalescing in the hospital. The police left the BJP leader later on personal bond later in the evening. Dattatreya told the media that some anti-social elements attacked the BJP leaders. He lamented that the police failed to arrest the persons who attacked the party leaders.
