Defence Minister A.K. Antony on Thursday clarified with a fresh statement in the Parliament on the killing of five Indian soldiers along the LoC in Poonch sector. Mr. Antony said that Specialist troops of Pakistan Army were involved in the attack on Indian soldiers. No attack on Indian troops possible without the support of the Pakistan Army, he said. “Our restraint should not be taken for granted. Those in Pakistan responsible for this tragedy should not go unpunished, says Defence Minister” he said during his address to the Lok Sabha.

Mr. Antony said that Specialist troops of Pakistan Army were involved in the attack on Indian soldiers. No attack on Indian troops possible without the support of the Pakistan Army, he said.

Mr. Antony further said that the latest incidents would have consequences on India’s behaviour on the Line of Control and relations with Pakistan.
