Digvijay asks Kiran, Botcha to fall in line

Hyderabad/New Delhi: AICC General Secretary in-charge of AP Affairs, Digvijay Singh, on Tuesday directed all the Congress leaders including the Chief Minister and the PCC president to fall in line and abide by the decision of the Congress Working Committee to bifurcate the State.

Digvijay Singh said the decision was taken after prolonged talks and wide-ranging consultations with all political parties. It was unfortunate that the TDP and the YSRCP which were among the political parties that gave their consent for bifurcation were going back on their word.

Digvijay said all the leaders including the Chief Minister, the PCC president and all other leaders from Telangana and Seemandhra region categorically told him that they would abide by any decision taken by the Congress high command.

Assuring that justice would be meted to all regions, Digvijay Singh appealed to all the Congress leaders to abide by the decision taken by the Congress Working Committee.
