New Delhi: Seven MPs of Seemandhra region will meet Lok Sabha speaker Meera Kumar on Tuesday. The ministers managed to get an appointment for tomorrow. To demand the acceptance of their resignations, seven MPs from the Seemandhra region: Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, Rajampet MP Sai Pratap, Nandyala MP YSP Reddy, Anantapuram MP Anata Vemkatramireddy, Rajahmundry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, Amalapuram MP GV Harsha Kumar, Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy have sought speaker Meera Kumar’s appointment. All the 7 MPs have received an intimation regarding the speaker’s appointment for Tuesday over telephone. The MPs are seeking approval of their resignations owing to pressure on them to resign, in the wake of the ongoing Seemandhra agitation.
