New Delhi: All nationalized banks will work normally tomorrow; the bank employees’ unions decided not to go on strike. The bank employees’ unions took this decision on getting a clear indication from the government that the merger of banks is not in their agenda.
The banks took this decision after the leaders of bank employees' association had discussions with the top officials of the Ministry of Revenue and the Principal Labor Commissioner. It was confirmed by the AIBEA Chief Secretary CH Venkatachalam.
