TVS launches Jupiter scooter for men

PG Satheesh Kumar, general manager, sales, TVS Motors said that they were now selling 35000 scooters per month and with the introduction of the TVS Jupiter, they hoped to sell 50000 scooters in a month.
Raghav Mishra, marketing manager, said this was the first product of TVS group for the male segment, especially for traders and self-employed.
The male scooter segment accounted for nearly 36 per cent of total scooter sales across the country. Stating that 2.7 lakh scooters a month were now sold, he said, this would touch three lakh in this festival season.
The female scooter segment accounted for 29 per cent, he said.
Manufactured at its Hosur unit, the Jupiter is priced at Rs 50,220 in Tamil Nadu.
