Anna Hazare not doing well, says Pathare
Anna Hazare’s indefinite strike reached the tenth day on Tuesday. A close associate of Anna Hazare on Tuesday said that Anna has been feeling extremely week and has lost 4.70 kg weight. According to Suresh Pathare, Anna’s health condition has been deteriorating and the creatinine levels are also crossing the normal levels. He said even the BP levels are at its high.
With his strong determination to continue his hunger strike till the Jan Lokpal Bill is passed by the Parliament, the state government of Maharashtra had to come down to turn a nearby Yadav Baba temple into a fully equipped ICU. But, said Pathare, as of now, there was no proposal to shift Hazare to the ICU, which is just adjacent to the site of Anna’s protest.
In fact, the Lokpal bill was supposed to taken up in the Rajya Sabha on Monday. But due to the sad demise of union Labour Minister Sis Ram Ola, the same was not taken up on Monday. From the other side, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Kamal Nath has given an assurance that the bill will be passed in the ongoing session of parliament and said the session will be extended, if needed. People from all regions of the country expressed solidarity with Hazare.
It is evident that Anna went on an indefinite hunger strike under the Jantantra Morcha banner on Dec, 10 and declared that he would continue till the Jan Lokpal Bill is passed by parliament.
