New Delhi: On Tuesday afternoon, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) opined that the Lokpal bill was needed to combat corruption in the country. The party viewed it as the need of the hour.During the debate in the Rajyasabha, the BSP MP, Satish Chandra Misra said the BSP party was against corruption at all levels. Hence, said satish, they welcome this bill. He said the BSP has been in favour of the bill that combats corruption at all levels.
However, he grumbled that his party din’t get intimation regarding an all party meeting on the bill called by Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Hamid Ansari. He said the BSP knew about the all party meet through media.
Admitting the allegation, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath viewed it as a communication gap.
