Grapevine is making rounds that Superstar of Kollywood Rajanikanth is joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. It is learnt that the party's Tamilnadu division approached Rajanikanth to reinforce the party in entire South India. Recently, a meeting was held in Tiruchi for the BJP Lok Sabha planning committee. It was headed by the party's general secretary Muralidhara Rao and was attended by Radha Krishnan, Ganeshan, and Sounder Rajan.
Later, Radha Krishnan spoke to the media and said at the moment, BJP favoring winds are blowing in all corners of India. He said Tamilnadu has become stronger as far as the BJP's strength is concerned. Both state and center will have BJP led governments, he added. He said talks concluded with MDMK and will be held with DMK for collaboration. He said they are about to seek support from Rajanikanth.
