HD Kumaraswamy-Radhika marriage may end politician's career?

It all started in November 2010 that Kannada actress Radhika revealed that she had married Kumaraswamy in the year 2006. Although the politician was mum on the issue, his birthday celebration pictures at Radhika's house went public confirming rumours that the two had indeed been married.

It's worth mentioning here that HDK is already married to another woman named Anitha.

His second wife, the Kannada actress however, always maintains that they are a happily married couple and she had no reasons to hide their relationship. The couple has a daughter Shamika.

Now, we hear that a Bangalore-based journalist Nagalakshmi Bai has written to the Chief Electoral Officer to disqualify HDK from Assembly for not declaring assets and liabilities of Radhika Kumaraswamy, his second wife.

The journalist alleged that the JD-S leader failed to declare Radhika's assets and liabilities when he contested the 2013 Assembly elections from Ramanagara constituency. She called for his Assembly membership to be annulled under Section 125-A of the Representative of People's Act-1951.

The Chief Electoral Officer is expected to serve notice to the respondent soon.
