New Delhi: The Apex Court on Tuesday reiterated that Homosexuality is a crime. The review petition on the subject matter was taken up by the honourable court on Tuesday and said there is no question of review in the matter of gay sex and rejected the petition in Toto. The bench headed by honourable Justice Dattu agreed fully with the previous verdict on the matter and rejected the review petition..

It is evident that the central government has filed a review petition challenging the Apex court’s verdict on gay sex. In this review petition, it was mentioned that many homosexuals will have to face risk, apart from maltreatment with the verdict given by the Supreme Court in accordance with IPC section 377; and urged the Apex Court to reconcile its verdict.
