Mumbai Police Commissioner To Contest For Loksabha. According to the sources, the Mumbai Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh is all set to offer resignation to his post, as he is likely to contest for Loksabaha either from Mumbai or Uttar Pradesh.

Mumbai: According to the sources, the Mumbai Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh is all set to offer resignation to his post, as he is likely to contest for Loksabaha either from Mumbai or Uttar Pradesh. Inside news has been making rounds in the Mumbai police circles that Satyapal has all ready submitted his resignation to the home ministry and in turn they have forwarded it to the office of Chief Minister of Maharashtra. It is also learnt that the Chief Minister’s office has given a nod to go ahead.

However, so far, Satyapal has not opened his mouth on this matter. He was invited both by the Aam Admi Party and BJP to join their respective parties. It is worth mentioning here that Satyapal is 1980 batch IPS officer.
