ECIL, Elbit sign MoU on radars, DEFEXPO 2014, Electronics Corporation of India Limited. The main applications are border protection systems, protection of sensitive sites, and battlefield surveillance.
New Delhi: Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a premier public sector enterprise in strategic electronics, has signed an MoU with a leading Israeli conglomerate Messrs Elbit Systems for working together in the area of portable ground surveillance radar systems, at DEFEXPO 2014 here on Saturday.
These portable and flexible ground surveillance radars offer unique properties that provide the armed forces, special operations and security personnel with integrated, real time tactical surveillance, intelligence gathering and target detection, classification and identification of human and/or vehicles operating in the area of interest.
The main applications are border protection systems, protection of sensitive sites, and battlefield surveillance.
