New Delhi: ND Tiwari, a veteran Congress leader on Monday has finally admitted Rohit Shekhar as his son, according to sources. It is evident that Shekhar had filed a fatherhood suit in 2008 seeking to declare Tiwari as his biological father. However, Tiwari had repeatedly denied the claims.
On Sunday night, reportedly, Tiwari invited Rohit Shekhar to his house and spoke to him for the first time in years. Tiwari has reportedly urged Shekhar to settle the matter out-of-court. Nevertheless, Shekhar and his mother said they will contest the case.
It is worth mentioning here that the Delhi High Court had in July 2012, considered a DNA report in the case which declared Tiwari as Shekhar's biological father.
