Hyderabad: In view of the on going troubles being faced by the women candidates, the Election Commission on Saturday said that they will improve security for them.
It is evident that Nagma, the Bollywood actress and Congress party candidate from Meerut, has been facing problems during her campaigning. Also, the same situation has been experienced by Hema Malini, the BJP candidate from Madhura constituency.
Due to the same, Umesh Sinha, the Chief Election Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh on Saturdaysaid that security for all women candidates is being boosted up. The police have been instructed for the same and were asked to continue extended security till April 10, when the elections conclude.
