A report from Dehra Dun said the 107.6 km road from Pithoragrh to Tawaghat is in a very bad shape and needs repairs; while a bridge, washed away last year, has to be rebuilt. Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra is due to begin on June 12th and the Indian government is making the necessary arrangements for it.
