According to a news report, all those dead are said to be of Russian origin. The bus was on its way to Gangotri when tragedy struck.
It is not know what caused the bus to veer off its path. Dharali is said to be the scene of tragedy. Police along with the rescue team rushed to the spot. The mishap occured on the Rishikesh-Gangotri National Highway around 2pm on Tuesday.
