Mumbai: IPL COO Confirms Zinta’s Charges Mumbai: The Marine Drive Police on Thursday recorded the statement of Indian Premier League (IPL) Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sundar Raman in connection with a reported tiff between Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and her former boyfriend Ness Wadia.

In a wriiten statement given to the Mumbai Police, Raman has confirmed Preity's allegations. The police has also recorded the statement of Kings XI Punjab COO, Frazer Castelino. As per reports, Sundar Raman had earlier “informally confirmed” of having witnessed an argument between Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia.
Preity had lodged a complaint against Ness last week alleging that her former boyfriend had humiliated her in public during an Indian Premier League match on May 30 at Wankhede stadium in South Mumbai.

The match was between Chennai Super Kings and Kings X1 Punjab. She has charged him for harassment and humiliation among other things. The CCTV footage of the incident, cited by the actor and recovered by police, couldn’t be of much assistance as Ness and Preity`s seats could not be identified in it. They could not be seen at the back of the stadium where the incident allegedly took place.

Preity Zinta had flown to the US after filing a complaint against Wadia last week and is expected to return to India on Friday. Police may record the Bollywood actress's statement in the case tomorrow. Interestingly, in a fresh twist to the case, the Wadia Group head - Nusli Wadia - received threat calls and one SMS from gangster Ravi Pujari, threatening him of dire consequences if the harassment of Zinta were to continue.
