Center to launch 'Universal Health Insurance Scheme'

Vijaywada: The poor, the middle class in the country will soon avail medical services through the central government's Health Insurance scheme. Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that 'Universal Health Insurance Scheme' will be of utmost use to the poor and the middle class. Speaking at inaugural of a private corporate hospital in Vijayawada, the minister advised hospitals to work on humanitarian grounds. He also recommended that the hospitals should charge less for the medical services so that the weaker sections of the society can avail the privileges. Corporate hospitals which meets the needs of the people needs to be established idealized the minister.
