New Delhi: In a case that immediately reminds one of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, a passenger train has been disappeared in India. The officials of North Eastern Railway have been hunting for the Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur passenger train for the last 14 days. According to reports, the train was last spotted at Hajipur railway station in Bihar and since then, it has not been located.

Reports suggest that on the night of August 25, nine coaches of a goods train had overturned at Ghughli Bazar station on Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj route, which led to the diversion of trains.

The trains were then re-routed to pass from Deoria, Chhapra and Varanasi. The train had also taken one of the routes. However, the route was shut down due to railway interlocking system, because of which the train had to make a stop at Hajipur. Four days after all the routes got cleared, railway officials were stunned when they did not find the passenger train at the Hajipur station.
