Hyderabad: The MIM party decided to contest in the Maharashtra Elections; it even declared it first candidate. They declared their first candidate for Aurangabad East Assembly seat on Monday.

MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi announced that Gangadhar Gade , the former transport minister of maharastra will contest in the bypoll on their party ticket.

According to sources, MIM is looking to contest in 60 constituencies by targeting Dalit and minority votes and initially decided to launch 40 candidates into the field. Muslims and Dalits are the deciding factor in 100 constituencies out of 288 states of the state.
