India\'s Maiden Medals at Asian Games 2014. India competed at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, from 19 September to 4 October 2014.

There is no doubt that Indian sportsmen have proven their best and have made India proud than ever before, as far as sports in India is concerned. Beyond expectation, there have been many medals which were claimed in the first attempt and first time. Appended below is the list of all such medals.

· Athletics: Maliakkal Anthony Prajusha fails in first attempt in Women's Triple Jump Final
· Athletics: Annu Rani records 59.53m in first attempt in Women's Javelin Throw final
· MC Mary Kom became the first Indian woman boxer to clinch a gold medal at the Asian Games beating Kazakhstan's Zhaina Shekerbekova 2-0 in an evenly-contested battle in which the Kazakh had the initial advantage.
India competed at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, from 19 September to 4 October 2014. After 16 years India won the Gold medal in Asian Games men's hockey tournament, and consequently earned a direct berth to the 2016 Summer Olympics hockey tournament.
