Elections are held for 288 constituencies in Maharashtra and 90 in Haryana. BJP needs 145 in Maharashtra and 46 in Haryana to form the government.
Currently BJP is looking to form singular government in both the states. While absolute majority in Haryana made sure of BJP’s government, BJP is yet to get absolute majority in Maharashtra. Coming next 3 hrs will be the deciding the factor.
If proper majority is not achieved, BJP is to form alliance with Siva Sena to form the government. As BJP is in majority seats, there is good chance that Chief Minister will be of BJP’s. BJP is forming the government in both the states for the first time.
