"Our government will neither favour anyone, nor will do any kind of discrimination. Furlough will only be granted as per rules, if it's not as per law, it will not be granted at all," said Fadnavis.
Sanjay Dutt was sent back to the Yerawada Jail in Pune, earlier on Thursday, after the completion of his two weeks furlough.
According to reports, the thespian had sought an extension in his furlough, which had been granted on December 24, 2014. However, the motion was dismissed.
Dutt is serving 42 months of his five year sentence from May 2013 for illegal possession of arms in a case related to the 1993 serial blasts. So far, he has spent over 100 days out of jail between May 2013 to May 2014 either on furlough or parole.
