New Delhi: A massive fire engulfed a pipeline of the city gas distributor Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) on Friday morning in the Moti Bagh area of South Delhi.
Ten fire brigade vehicles were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control.
"We received a call around 9.30 a.m. This is the main gas pipeline of GAIL and accidentally there occurred a gas a leakage which resulted in the fire. Three private vehicles have been damaged. But no person was injured," a fire tender official said.
