New Delhi: As the fight between the AAP and BJP inches closer and closer while the Congress recedes to the third place, the CPM called upon its supporters and sympathizers in the national capital to vote for former Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.

CPM’s general secretary Prakash Karat said, “Wherever our presence is there, we have asked them to vote for AAP.” The CPM is contesting only in three constituencies in the February 7 Delhi Assembly elections but has some presence in a few other constituencies especially in the working and educated classes who have political affinity with the Left. It wants these voters to support the AAP, and not to the Congress.

The CPM is fighting in Karawal Nagar, Burari and Dwaraka constituencies and supporting other Left parties in 12 other constituencies.
