The three accused Lokesh Sharma, Jitender Nag Pal, and Vipin Kumar in the classified documents leakage case have been sent to judicial custody till March 17 by a Delhi court.

Earlier on Thursday, the Delhi Police had arrested Jitender Nagpal, personal assistant to a joint secretary in the Forest and Environment Ministry, and Vipin Kumar, a personal assistant to a member of the Union Public Service Commission in connection with the corporate espionage case related to the natural gas and oil ministry.
Lokesh, an energy consultant, had been arrested for allegedly leaking information from the Coal and Power Ministry and providing unauthorized documents to certain individuals for money.
With these arrests, the number of people arrested has gone up to 16.
Earlier last week, two energy consultants Santanu Saikia and Prayas Jain, and five senior executives from top energy firms identified as Shailesh Saxena from RIL, Vinay Kumar from Essar, KK Naik from Cairns, Subhash Chandra from Jubilant Energy and Rishi Anand from ADAG Reliance had been arrested in the case.
