New Delhi: Services of four trains including three Rajdhani Expresses were affected causing inconvenience to passengers after a fire broke out at New Delhi railway station's maintenance yard here on Tuesday.

Six empty coaches of two Rajdhani trains were burnt at the maintenance yard of New Delhi station causing disruption in the train operation for some time in the afternoon.

Though the reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained, it seems the fire started at the fuel pipe of the AC coaches.

Two AC coaches of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani and four coaches, including the pantry car, of the Sealdah Rajdhani were affected in the fire. Railway staff on the spot had delinked the affected coaches from the rest so that the fire did not spread.
