Kerala govt sites hacked by Jihadi Pak cyber activists Nearly 50 websites belonging to various government departments including Kochi Metro were found hacked on Wednesday.

It now appears that the Pakistani cyber hackers have focused on Kerala government websites. Nearly 50 websites belonging to various government departments including Kochi Metro were found hacked on Wednesday.

The visitors to the site were only able to see Pakistan-backed slogans posted on the site. The Tuesday meeting of the Kochi Metro Rail (KMRL) Ltd had decided to give sea blue colour (marine blue) to the coaches of the metro train. KMRL will be holding few meetings in the coming week to finalize on the stations and other related matters when kochimetro.org was found hacked.

The website of Kerala Backward Class Development Department http//bcdd.kerala.gov.in/ too was hacked and a black hooded image with Pakistani slogans was posted.

Cyber police and NIA investigating into the happening say the jihad hackers were operating from a south Asian country and became untraceable thereafter. But we are trying to block them and put more firewalls with new security codes, said a senior IT official of the Kerala govt.
