Rahul Gandhi: ‘Acche Din’ only for PM Modi

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi who is on a two day visit to Telangana said that ‘Acche Din’ have come only for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and businessmen close to him.

Stating that the was being run by PM Modi and few of his businessmen friends, Rahul Gandhi said that the government is running with selected industrialists and that ‘Acche Din’ have not come for people but only for the Prime Minister who is touring various countries.

Speaking at a public meeting at Wadial village, he said that Modiji wears a suit worth Rs 10 lakh and questioned the promises made by the Modi government and the mini-Modi (K. Chandrasekhar Rao) in Telangana over the jobs at the Centre.

Rahul Gandhi winded up 15-km long padyatra in Adilabad district where he met the families of farmers who committed suicide due to financial distress. The Congress scion even went on to say that people are coming to him saying that they made a mistake in terms of voting for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Responding back to the allegations made by TRS and NDA for meeting the farmers’ families who committed suicide, Mr Gandhi said that there would be no need to visit them if PM Modi or Telangana CM KCR had visited them. Mr Gandhi also hit out at the NDA government for the land acquisition law as the farmers lands are being snatched to be handed over to the industrialists who are close to PM Modi.
