Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates will be addressing the 'Marhaba Namo' on Monday. The grand public reception is being held for the Prime Minister in Dubai International Cricket Stadium and 50,000 Indian expatriates have registered for the event that is being touted as another Madison Square-like event.


With the unprecedented response for the event on the website www.namoindubai.ae, an additional 15,000 will be accommodated in the stadium capacity of 30,000. Prime Minister Modi will be the first in the history of the UAE to be a visiting head of state who has been allowed a reception on this scale.


The stadium will display the event live on giant screens outside for people unable to enter the stadium. With PM Modi's visit to Dubai, the #ModiInDubai is trending on Twitter. While some are hailing the Prime Minister's involvement for the allottment of land to build temples in Dubai, many are seeking more smartcity ideas implementation from UAE.
