The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has shifted the issue date of Sovereign Gold Bond by four days from November 26 to November 30 to enable smooth uploading into RBI\'s e-Kuber system. The first tranche of the bonds were open for subscription from November 5 to November 20, 2015.

New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has shifted the issue date of Sovereign Gold Bond by four days from November 26 to November 30 to enable smooth uploading into RBI's e-Kuber system.

The first tranche of the bonds were open for subscription from November 5 to November 20, 2015.

The bonds will be denominated in multiples of gram(s) of gold with a basic unit of 1 gram. The tenor of the bond will be for a period of 8 years with exit option from 5th year.
