Induvalu Suresh, who hails from Ramanagaram, 60 km from Bengaluru said that he and other Congress workers were worried sick after the party president and her son were summoned by the court, and thus made the bizarre pledge.

Suresh kept his family in the dark about his plans to donate his finger and reportedly wrapped it in a thousand rupee note to handle the pain once he cut it off. Here's a particularly ardent fan of Rahul and Sonia Gandhi.
