Poland company Eklog to set up Plant in Karnataka

Bengaluru: In the wake of the upcoming Invest Karnataka 2016, a MOU signing ceremony was held today between Department of Commerce & Industries Government of Karnataka and M/s Ekolog, Poland Company with the initiative budget of 50Million USD as private investments in clean technologies sector, cutting edge solutions for ecology related investments.

The MOU was signed between Mr.Robest Jans, Director, Eklog and Smt. K. Rathna Prabha, Additional Chief Secretary to Government Commerce & Industries Department in the presence of Hon’ble Minister for Large & Medium scale industries and Tourism, Sri. RV Deshpande. As part of this MOU, EKOLOG will establish a special high technology equipment factory to create a market in India and export. Ekolog also declared that it would create a research and training centre of environmental technologies for local engineers and students. EKOLOG is a leading player in the clean technologies sector and cutting edge solutions for ecology related investments and said that they would like to take join initiative ahead by signing this MOU.

Speaking at the event, Hon’ble Minister Sri. RV Deshpande, said he was honored on the signing of this MOU with Eklog and extended his full cooperation and support to realize this project at the earliest. He further added, that it is our duty to protect the environment and ecology. Smt. K. Rathna Prabha mentioned that the project would be actioned at the earliest to solve issues concerning waste management in Bengaluru City.

The innovative product portfolio of Ekolog consists of ELA reactors for wastewater treatment plants, technologies for biological and chemical phosphorus removal, de-nitrification and nitrification, separate bioreactors at municipal wastewater treatment plant and a cogeneration system with supply of electricity to the national grid.
