Guwahati: Central armed forces will be deployed at every polling station in the upcoming Assembly polls in Assam.
The state police will be deployed as zonal and sector force, while central forces will guard polling stations on the day of polling. The poll process for the 126-member Assembly needs to be completed by 5th of June.
