On 21 March 2016 the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of India took part in the celebration of the World Day of Nowruz jointly organized by the Embassies of several countries at the \"Umrao\" hotel in New Delhi. Event was attended by chief guest from the Indian side Secretary East of the Ministry of External Affairs Ms. Preeti Saran.

On 21 March 2016 the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of India took part in the celebration of the World Day of Nowruz jointly organized by the Embassies of several countries at the "Umrao" hotel in New Delhi. Event was attended by chief guest from the Indian side Secretary East of the Ministry of External Affairs Ms. Preeti Saran.

Nowruz celebration was held in the traditional form of the fair includes cultural performances and represents of national cuisine. In India, World Day Nowruz was held for the second time. This year, to celebrate the spring festival of revival of life joined several thousands residents of Delhi and other cities of India. Among the guests attended the event were well-known politicians and public figures, heads of the diplomatic missions, representatives of business circles, mass media.

As the part of this event, ensemble «Kok Turkter» from Kazakhstan gave a concert which was perceived with much delight by assembled audience. Ensemble performed folk songs and music as well as compositions of outstanding Kazakh authors and composers of our time.
During the event, the Embassy of Kazakhstan was represented by dishes of national cuisine, national clothes and souvenirs which is so beloved by the residents of the Indian capital.
