Jaitley praises Telangana efforts on water missions
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday appreciated Telangana government for initiating water missions for taking care of drinking and irrigation requirements of the newly-carved state.
New Delhi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday appreciated Telangana government for initiating water missions for taking care of drinking and irrigation requirements of the newly-carved state.
Speaking during the inaugural session of fourth 'India Water Week', Jaitley said the efforts of the Telangana government will pay off to mitigate the miseries of farmers.
Similiarly, the Union Finance Minister heaped praises on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for taking special efforts by the Andhra Pradesh government for taking up interlinking of rivers.
He said through Pattiseema project Naidu marked the beginning of interlinking the rivers in the country. “Naidu will also complete the Polavaram project with the same determination he worked for the Pattiseema project,” Arun Jaitley added.
